Plastering & Rendering
We completed all internal and external plastering and rendering works for this 5-bedroom new build home in Epsom, Surrey. Internally, we supplied and organised all necessary materials and carried out a full plastering package. This included plaster-boarding all stud walls and ceilings, dot and dabbing block-work walls, and skimming the entire interior to a smooth, high-quality finish. Externally, the clients opted for a silicone render system for a clean, low-maintenance finish with long-term durability.
Internal Preparation & Finish
Inside the property, our team managed the full scope of plastering preparation. This involved precise installation of plasterboard on metal and timber stud partitions, as well as ceilings. We then dot and dabbed the blockwork walls before applying a multi-coat skim finish throughout, ensuring consistent smoothness and ready-to-paint surfaces across all rooms.
External Silicone Render System
For the exterior, our clients chose a premium silicone render system. After supplying all materials through our trusted supplier, Johnstone’s, we prepared the block-work using a red grit base coat to control suction and create a strong mechanical bond. Beads were installed on all corners and a bell-cast bead was fixed above the DPC level to maintain clean lines and prevent water ingress.
Render Application & Finish
Following preparation, we embedded reinforced mesh into a tight base coat for added strength, then applied a second, flatter base coat ruled off to level. Once cured, we primed the surface using a silicone-based primer to ensure strong adhesion. Finally, we applied a 1.5mm enhanced silicone render in the clients’ chosen colour—Brilliant White—achieving a crisp, modern finish that complements the property’s design.
